PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION in collaboration with the OUT-OF-SCHOOL YOUTH OF ZAMBOANGA PENINSULA
UNICEF AND ATENEO DE ZAMBOANGA UNIVERSITY, PHILIPPINES

 

UNICEF Philippines and Ateneo Center for Culture and the Arts’ SUGPAT heART Intensives, a back-to-back creative arts workshop in Photography and Digital Storytelling for out-of-school youth enrolled in the SUGPAT Alternative School for Peacebuilding and the Arts concluded the program with the "Ano'ng K mo" exhibition.

The socially engaged art project intended to contribute to the personal development of the out-of-school youth of Zamboanga Peninsula through art workshop and creative production 5K: Katauhan-Kakayanan-Kapwa-Karanasan-Karapatan and the curation of photographic stories and moving images on heroism, peace, and resilience from the communities in Asia's Latin City. SUGPAT has long believed in the power of creative arts in peace-building initiatives among the youth of Zamboanga City.
